Cool, I am not very familiar with Villanelle, but I know it can be hard to convey it into something natural that does not halt itself. But I think you did a good job here and I enjoyed it for what it is

Wasn't familiar with villanelles myself until about 2yrs ago, i started writing them because, as you said, it's a bit difficult to convey a message while writing within borders which you must adhere to. It's a little challenge i took up.

Cool cool, I will consider it myself sometime. Seems very interesting, and it is a challenge to face!
