I know ana means "I" and nafsy is "hope" I think, and I know enty is "you are". It's the words inbetween I can't get yet.

"nafsyنَفسي" doesn't mean "hope" ... But , it means myself ...

You meant "nefsy نِفسي" ... yes , it means "I hope"

Hahaha just to explain, I have the flu and I am "dying in bed" and my friend wrote back saying that phrase that I showed you and then said that I had to live hahahah. I'm taking a ton of arabic classes at the moment, but my friend speaks egyptian arabic and my other friends speak lebanese arabic, and so it gets very confusing! This forum is awesome!! Shukran!!
