    hey all...

i came across a tshirt site with funny/'cool' arabic designs.. one or two got me thinking

eish ya 6 - from what i remember it means like hey sexy or something. can both men and women use that phrase or is it just for men to women?

i came across this list when i googled to try and find my answer. any chance of some translations? (apologies in advance if anybody is offended i think its supposed to be a fun thing for the lads)

Yeah they were Jo Bedu shirts... thank you. Some of these words could come in handy I guess lol

Another request - i was forwarded this link. It's from nakhshet mokh on jordanian radio. the person that was pranked is a friend of a friend. I understand some of it but was wondering if somebody could give a more detailed description...

    http://www.4shared.com/audio/NO7rDTB...e_6_Ramzi.html

or you could just listen and enjoy lol.. i think it was voted one of the best pranks.

    @ Vengo511
for god sakes that guy ( nadeem is crazy )
actually i dont like his jokes but i do laugh 'cause he do hit my nerves ..dunno if u got my point anyway ...

the conversation is all about that this guy nadeem is making fun on that guy whose called ramzi whos living all his life in u.s.a
and he doesnt know arabic well

he wants him to make an advertisement about camel milk
which isnt so familiar in western countries such as America
but the joke start when the guy ramzi say that he live in usa in wrong way coz he didnt said it right way
    ..
nadeem explains his vision about that advertisement as giving an idea ..
the idea is that camel went to England in the plane as normal people but as vip .. after he arrives they ask the camel what are you doing here and give me passport so the camel freaks out and pee on his self /but he pee milk so they took that milk
and the commercial ends with a slogan titled ( camel milk is good for every English )

2nd project is to sell the goat eggs ..and here start the trick
coz u know eggs (balls) are so dirty words
ramzi start to laugh out loud coz he never heard of such thing ...
nadeem wants the slogan to be (egg for every can)

its hard to translate every word they said
coz they play with words ..

    as galan /ghanam
    galan means can (bottle)
    ghanam means goats /sheeps

sometimes I'm afraid when i'm all alone, and my imagination (or mind) wanders astray and when I'm alone and without you, I wait for you every second, if I lose you then I won't find such love again
The hours of pain have yielded good,
    Which prosperous days refused;
As herbs, though scentless when entire,
    Spread fragrance when they’re bruised.

How to say in Iraqi or Khaleejy: how to spoil/seduce a stranger (but not as question, just like in a manual: how to knit, or something like that... ;-) )

    Thanks in advance
