hahaha I meant that it was low class in Egyptian dialect coz I know that Leyla try to learn Egyptian dialect, for this I try to explain her every thing about it whenever I can.

    Hi Amira !

Well. Verbs in Egyptian dialect r not that different from the clasical ones, as u imagin ... Almost most of the verbs you wrote have the same meanings in Eyptian dialect, except some ones. So I'll write the verbs which have different meanings in Egyptian dialect. OK?

    NoteS:

*q ق in Egyptian dialect is pronounced as "aأ".
    But in "decide-qarrar", "expect-tawaqqa'a", "punish = 3aaqeb", "sign-waqqa'a", "suggest-eqtaraha" we pronounce the q ق as it's.

*"jج" in Egyptian dialect is pronounced like "g" and "Th ذ" like "z" and *"thث" sometimes like "s". and sometimes like "tت"

*The last signal (on the last letter) of the verb, that is, the vowel which is put at the end of the Arabic verb (in Latin characters) is not pronounced when the subject is: "I = ana" Or "you(m) = enta","he = howwa or name of boy" Or "she = Heya or any name of girl" Or "We = e7na (in Present tense)".

    >> What's this??

    >>> EX::: When we want to say: "He wrote" we use the same verb: kataba, but without the last signal, so we say just "katab" without the last vowel ("a", here).

*I doubt in some verbs here on the top,may some one correct them 4 u, and others I coudn't translate them into Egyptian for now

*Some of the verbs meanings of Egyptian dialect I wrote for u r simply other way to say the verbs in classic Arabic, too, that is, they r used in the bot. Not all verbs, some of them.

*I think it's not enough to learn the verbs meanings in Egyptian dialect, coz the congugation is different, too, in all cases. Egyptian dialect has its own way to congugate the verbs, a bit different from the clasical way!!!

    *add = adaaf أضاف
and we use "7a6" حَطّ, too.

    *bring = gaab جاب

    *carry = shaal شال

    *catch = mesek مِسِك

    *close = afal قفل

*come = geh جاء ..but it's pronounced: جِه/جِ

    *complete = kammel كمِّل

    *concentrate = rakkez ركِّز

    *confuse = la5bat لخبط

    *continue = kammel كمِّل

    *cross = 3adda عدَّى

    *cry = 3ayya6 عيط

    *divide = 2***em قسِّم

    *drees = lebes لبس

    *drink = shereb شرب

    *drive = saa2 ساق

    *end = 5allas خلص

    *escape = hereb هِرِب

    *fail = fashal فشل

    *fall = we2e3 وقع

    *feed = akkel أكِّل

    *feel = 7as حسّ

    *fight = et5aane2 اتخانِق

    *fill = mala ملى

    *find = la2a لقى

    *fling = 7adaf حدف

    *forget = nesi نِسِي

    *form = shakkel شكِّل

    *freeze = gammed جمِّد

    *give = edda إدى

    *go = raa7 راح

    *grow = keber كِبِر

    *hate = kereh كِرِه

    *hear = seme3 سِمع

    Don't worry

    *3id = (Islamic celebration)

*isa ??? maybe he wanted to say : in sh`a Allah = If god wants !!! I'm not sure
3id doesnt mean islamic celebration, it just means holiday

and isa, can mean"more" in southern lebanese accent, or the word "or"
