Thanks in advance
I forgot to mention that I would like to know it in Fus7a ;-) No dialect please
<<<If only you were a little bit more like him>>> Eza konta toshbeheho kalilan (إذا كنت تشبهه قليلاً)
<<<More Than>>> (Aksar min) (أكثر من)

I am still not satisfied...how to say the whole sentence now? If only you were a little bit more like xx
Orwa has just mentioned it seperately and I can't get the sense together.
Yes, and there is no condition to be questioned or answered, so لو is definitely suitable.
Ah, an I think that شبه is no verb, so how come تشبهه??? I can't find it in any dictionary except as صـــــفـــــــة or اســــــــــــم
Mh?
Help?

@Orieeeeeeee, hehe, you're right, it should be "لو", but it doesn't a matter if we put "إذا", they're the same meaning, but yours is much better in the grammar, and i am soooooooooo not good in grammar rules![]()

@Jihan, now you changed the sentence, first you said, blah blah "like him", now you're changing it to" like xx", here we will have a change in the verb "يشبه",
تشبه mean "same or like", and we add a "هــــ" refering to him (Male), did you understand the meaning??
so the sentence "If only you were a little bit more like him", "لو كنت تشبهه قليلا"
and the sentence "If only you were a little bit more like her", "لو كنت تشبهها قليلا"
And let Oriee explain more if you didn't understand![]()

- raw3a w salbe kamen ktir...7bet 2el fekra
it's amazing and really cool too.. I loved the idea
- bi min kenet 3am tfakker 7oun
Who were you thinking of here?
- wein sered?
Where is sered? if they meant seret.. then it's Where have you reached? or Where are you now?
- ktir b7eba la hal soura ra2e3a jedan
I really like this pic alot, it's very nice
- ma bkeff ysiboube bel 3ein
I'm not worried that they will touch me with the evil eye
ysiboune bel 3ain is a way to say Jinx me.. so I'm not worried that they will jinx me
leh hal "waw" rawa7te chi 2aw chefte chi.
Why the "wow" did you see something
- chou ryak tjalesse lal soura?
What do you say to sitting in the pic?
- ma 2eza jalasta be2loub ana
If I set it I would fall over
- twins? aw se2abit your bdays b nafs l nhar?
twins? or your birthdays are on the same day?
- no se2abet same day w emmi hiyi emmo
no it happened same day and my mom is his mom
- enta aktar wehdi shayfa l fare2, ma heik?
You are the one who noticed the difference most, isn't that right?
- hiyye kamen bet7ebik
She loves you too
- yalla rja3o tla3o la 3anna
Come on you're back, come up by us
- m3alem....
Teacher, Sir etc.. it's an expression
- yemkin mghalbet walla chou?...3a gheyr 3adeh
Maybe I'm ticked or what?... for a number of reasons
Ya reitni 2amle b sha3rak, kel lama ashta2lak atsa7sel w ashoufak ♥
It doesn't make a difference for the verb, if it is like him/her/them...just the suffix changes.

My matter was that there is no such verb تشبه in all of my three dictionaries of Modern Standard and Classical Arabic 8)
I don't know...is it possible to use the präfix ك instead?
And what about "little bit more" قليل أكثر
Is it possible to say لو فقط أنت كنت قليل أكثر كوالده (the latter is just an example)
Or better to say لو فقط أنت كنت قليل أكثر من شبه والده (in this case شبه would be used as noun)
???
@Jihan, "Alittle bit more" doesn't mean قليل أكثر, and in ALL arabic we don't have such a word, so, a little bit more mean "أكثر بقليل"
And, if i am not mistaken, يشبه و تشبه have the same meaning, you have to ask Orieeeee about this point
About the sentence, it'd be as follow:
لو كنت تشبه والده أكثر بقليل = لو كنت تشبه والده قليلاً
Enjoy![]()
