Puttar is Punjabi for Son

Jai Mata di is a slongam said in praise of the Hindu Goddess.

Mata which means mother is used for the Mother Goddess in above slogan.

Yes i mean "Jite Raho"....the actors are saying very fast...Anyway jit=life jit gaye=(we)won...how is in hindi for "we lost"???This word "jit" have many forms
"Jai Mata di"....what is the meaning of "di"?

Jeet is Hindi for Win
Zindagi = Life (hindi) (jeevan too)
Jind - Life (Punjabi)

Haar = Defeat (There are more words but I am telling you more commonly used)

Hum Haar gaye = We lost
Hum match haar gaye = we lost the match

Di = Of (punj)
Ki = of (Huindi)

Gaddi di Chaabi = Key of the Car = Pun
Gadi ki Chaabi = Key of Car = Hin

Sure You will see more. As Many Hindi learners are counting on me. I started this method as many people said that they face difficulty with fluent Hindi.
