I've been trying for hours to figure out the name of the song or who made it? It was fairly popular and I think it was released arounf 86-88?

Lyrics are something like this

it was a younger day ....... when they killed/shot kennedy ...... laughing and crying

followed up by .... hey mum mum yeah everynight

I thought it was OMD ( orchestral maneuvers in the dark )

This is driving me nuts!

I think the MTV video was filmed in black and white and if I remember correctly it has a scene with a car window (or side mirror) that reflects trees while driving down a country road?
