I have a few lines from a song by an unknown artist. Please help me if you can> Lines are:

At the beginning:
Don't praise a man on top and paint his throne white

Later:
Don't be fooled, they'e all lyin'

and

Don't let them waste your life
Save your Sunday best and keep your paper dollars and dimes

This was background from a TV show and that's about all I could get with all the dialogue going on. Appreciate any help.

The song was apparently played at the very end of the season finale for NBC's "Conviction" I don't know the song, but this site lists music from episodes. Maybe its on the list. Good luck!
