Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty
Mourned the loss of dignity
As common sense slipped away

The gov'ment this nation built
Seemed to tiptoe around the guilt
And two stepped themselves a raise

Sam and Lady are now at odds
So they knelt down and bowed to God
But the gov'ment said they couldn't pray

So Lady quietly said to Sam
We need to go find the Man!
