mekatar means making it more or making it increase or doing something a lot, for example:
Enta mekatar 5orogat el yomen dol. (You go out a lot these days)

it's from the verb yekatar (يكتر)

mekasar means breaking or broke, for example:
Am mekasar el tarabeza. (Then he broke the table)

u can also hear it in the idiom mekasar el donya, it literally means breaking the world, but the understood meaning is very successful, for example:
El film da mekasar el donya. (This movie is very successful)

it's from the verb yekasar (يكسر)
