    Translation

Some day they will come to tell you
that they believe in you, that they love you
    and how they want you

Keep your mind on the child
lock the door with the key
    they are telling lies

Some day they will come, the wise men,
the sharp reasoners and fine talkers,
    to convince you

Keep your mind on the child
lock the door with the key
    they will sell you

    And when the times come
when the candle will be blown out
    in the tempest

    Protect the child
    because if the child escapes
    there is hope.

This is a Theodorakis' song from the "Asimvivastos" movie.

'Asimvivastos" ("The uncompromisable"), was so much underrated in it's time,
"spoke" of some truths unrevealed to Greek people till then.
Thomopoulos the director, had been accused of being too romantic...
But it's the MAIN source of knowledge about Sidiropoulos for the future generations.

Here is the link to the full movie (unfortunately no subs) -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUX-JBn5Bw8

"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"
