All my friends have been there
I'm starting to feel left out
I wanna know first hand
What they're talking about
I wanna feel that breeze
Lay back in the sun
Go swimming in the ocean
We'll be having fun
Take Me To Cancun
Take me to the moon
Take me anywhere
As long as you are there
Take me real soon
On a Yucatan vacation
Take me
Take Me To Cancun
Realizing our ambitions
As beachcombing bums
Living on love
Living on crumbs
Strumming our guitars
Gazing at the stars
Sleeping all day
Drinking Malibu Rum
Take Me To Cancun
Take me to the moon
Take me anywhere
As long as you are there
Take me real soon
On a Yucatan vacation
Take me
Take Me To Cancun
solo
Take me real soon
On a Yucatan vacation
Take me
Take Me To Cancun
Take me
Take Me To Cancun

Enjoyed that, love how it's not really the destination but the company that you want.

Thanks, JIM!! Such fun and "escape" . . . something we all long for. We like to listen to music like this when we're on the way to our tropical vacation. So let me know when you record so I can add it to our vacation music!!!
Thank you for another great song. (Excuse me, at first I wrote "Doug" but I defo meant you, JIM!)

Hi Jim Colyer, Just a few days ago I post a comment somewhere in this site, about something you said about Mart, and now I find this wonderful lirics, it sounds so funny and sunny, I would like to be there too, I was once, but I went working to an Island near called Isla Mujeres (Women Island), people say that Cancun is party all the time and the island is to be quiet, in peace, more calmed.
I noticed that you mention Yucatán, Mayas said that when the world gets to an end only Yucatán will remain, hope all of us be there when that happen. Thanks for your good work Jim. You rock! -
As i read this i was almost thinking that i should be able to find this "song" on youtube right now with about 5 million views
that's how great it reads to me. Buffet has nothing on you Mr. Colyer and that is the 100 percent truth.
lol i thought about him bcs last fall when we went on a caribe cruise the 2 things that I saw everywhere were Hard Rock Cafe and J.B.'s name
oh and Dos Equis amber bcs a certain someone apparently just doesn't feel complete on vacation unless he has routine ingestions of his fave cervesa
mexico62 that is exactly my impression, quiet and peaceful....altho time was very limited we ventured out for a couple of hours and i thought how serene it seemed. I really think that i would love to live in a place like that....Music is what feelings sound like
