Default She Must Be Some Girl

    Traditional country for a female.

I wonder where you go each time you leave me
Could it be into another's arms
You see, I only know what my heart tells me
And I can't help but think I've lost my charms

She Must Be Some Girl to take you away
After all you said I meant to you
She Must Be Some Girl to make you act that way
Or was it not so hard to be untrue

I know that I have never met perfection
And I'm not responsible for all I do
But I can't help thinking you still love me
That is why I'm gonna wait for you

She Must Be Some Girl to take you away
She must have cast a spell on you
She Must Be Some Girl to make you act that way
Or was it not so hard to be untrue

    solo

So have your fling, I can't hold that against you
I'll never know just how she makes you feel
All I can say is I hope she deserves you
And that you realize my love is real

She Must Be Some Girl to take you away
She must have a stranglehold on you
She Must Be Some Girl to make you act that way
Or was it not so hard to be untrue

I admire that you can take yourself out of your own shoes, and write this well for female artists! Most times men change "she"to "he"and women change "he"to "she" or something along those lines!Mr.Postman originally sung by The Marvelettes was covered by the Beatles using that very formula.Jim,nice to see another relatable song.Nice job!

Gotta say it: I can almost hear somebody like Jessi Colter singing this. I was gonna say Emmylou at first, coz she's my all-time favorite "country" vocalist. But the point is that these lyrics "sound" so good that I found myself thinking back 20+ years... George Strait's early golden days (Amarillo By Morning), Clint Black, H.W. Jr, Willie & Waylon/and Jessi, somewhere along those lines.

On the other hand... I just wonder... could you make this fit a Texas Swing tempo?
    Nah j/k
    Love it!
