    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AIQWK7A3vo

Are there any Greek love songs that are not sad?
Gott zur Ehr, dem nächsten zur Wehr

What if they gave a fire and nobody came.

Well we actually have no time for writing songs while "in love" ....
    PLUS
Inspiration strucks the lyricist while under some "heavy" dissapointment.

But you could find some happy songs if you search....

"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

No tear will drop from my eye
I´ll pack my things with a smile
you won´t hear a word from lips
I thought love is my friend

What have I done to you my love, it was only me who loved
I give you pain, tears and nights without sleep
give me energy to survive the devil
and the life I leave behind when you are not here

I do not drink to get drunken when you are not here
I am searching for a love with feelings
you won´t hear a word from lips
I thought love is my friend

Amethystos, maybe you can have a look over it; I think its not a 100% correct.

    Bravo Tahira!
    That was an impressive effort!
I will soon create a translaton just for correcting some mistakes in the meaning.

Before posting the translation I have to say a couple of things.

The first one is that, this vid actually DEPICTS the sound that you can hear in "bouzoukia" stages.
The only thing that differs is that in the vid there are "TONS of LIGHT" , while in reality you can barely see the face of the person sitting next to you.

The second is this AMAZING SOLO BOUZOUKI (aka "Taximi") played by Manolis Karandinis. He real "talks" to the instrument, while the instrument obey.

A single teardrop won't run, off my eyes
I'm gathering the pieces of mine, with a smile.

A single word you won't listen, off my lips
I thought that Love was afriend of mine **
