Default Solved I am seeking a song only by a few lyrics.

    Hi all
I was sitting with friends in a beer-restaurant and it was playing some classic songs from the 80s mostly,or late 70s (like Simon n Garfunkel,Styx,George Michael,Genesis)
and so on ballads and slow stuff, and i really liked and search for a song that i heard which i kept only a couple of lyrics from.
It was slow, had a psychedelic flute in the beggining, and lyrics was somehow ''listen to the rain''(this was repeated some times in the song)
some other words i kept is boy, drop, (if it helps).
i think was not longer than 3 minutes.male vocales.
not pop stuff i think, mostly late 70s or 80s stuff, like slow ballad style.
any but any idea would be helpful..thanks a lot for your time.

MAybe this one? Unfortunatelly I did not found a music sample on youtube or something like that. Itīs a soft song, like Simon and Garfunkel, male singer... I googled the lyrics (which I knew by heart) and I found it and the singer is named also. The song must be from the late 70ies I used to have it on cassette.

And Supertramp used in the last few seconds of their song that lyris, but not with the original melody

Finally I found the song I was talking about, it must have been Jose Filiciano singing it first

An I hope its the song you were looking for !
