Hi I have written an idea for some lyrics, but could do with some advice whether they are any good or not

It's just verses at the moment struggling for a chorus idea



Verse 1

On the night we first met
In that bar in New Orleans
I remember what was said
Do you want to dance with me

Chorus

And I oh I

Verse 2

The night we first met
How you smiled and looked at me
As I held your hand
When we walked above the street

Chorus

And I oh I

a chorus??:
I can feel your body heat
As we're walking down Bourbon street
And it's oh so intoxicating
We are way past hesitating
This night will never be beat.

I'd say instead of "this night will never be beat" :"this night will be hot indeed"!
Just suggestion, people, suggestions.....
