    Default Story Of Your Life

Tell me the story of your life
Tell me how it was back in time
Before the stars came out at night
And the world was covered in white
    Tell me the story
    "Chorus"
    Where have You gone?
    My friend
Where will You be in the end
How will I live without You
How will I know when it is true
Tell me the story of Your life
Tell me the story go back in time
    Go back in time

Tell me the story of the world
Back before the days of loneliness
    Back before the days of
    Technology
Back when we all got along
And found a way to belong
    Tell me the story
Of how it us to be
Before the world fell into history
    "Chorus"
    Where have You gone?
    My friend
Where will You be in the end
How will I live without You
How will I know when it's true
Tell me the story of Your life
Tell me the story go back in time
    Go back in time
    Go back in time
    "Bridge"
I want to see the day
    When no one is afraid
    And we all live together
    Here forever
I want to see the day
I want to see the day
    When the world lasts forever
    The world lasts forever
    And the story stands forever
    Forever, forever
    "Chorus"
    Where have You gone?
    My friend
Where will You be in the end
How will I live without You
How will I know when it is true
Tell me the story of Your life
Tell me the story go back in time
    Go back in time
    Go back in time
tell me the story of your life
There is not enough space or time to truly let the song unwind

I'm not sure anyone living remembers the days before technology. Nor do I think there was a time when we all got along.

Exactly why this song is about the hope of a better story one far more simple.

Yes, that's a true Dream, John. Who wouldn't like to stand still a second and think about that? When sitting in a bus after a gig going home I see nothing but zombies around me with laptops, ipods, mobiles and what have you. The Real Touch seems to have gone. It's sad, John, very sad, as a matter of fact. Can you put down your mobile for an hour and talk to your kid? I hope so, truely! Thanks for being so thoughtful The storytelling demands peace and quiet- you know!

Santana;I usually don't respond to others on someone else's Thread. The statement "it couldn't have been much worse than it is now"is very naive.I'm reading "Destined To Witness"(Growing Up Black in Nazi Germany)believe me,things have been and could be a lot worse than it is now.I find people that say "it couldn't be worse"are either entitled or ignorant of world history.
