I'm going to throw out a couple of songs and see if they are even on the right path.

    Madonna - Like a Prayer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSVbwwsLPqw
Foreigner - I Want To Know What Love Is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loWXMtjUZWM

Thx anyway for the effort, guessing with mainstream is missing the point it's not mainstream at all, song is british for sure and kinda obscure mainly filled with synths, and female voice is more like effect announcing the chorus with huge church like organ and sampled choire with tribal rhythm on a rhythm machine not on real drums.Through second part of a song all to the the and is anthem like melody really uplifting. Its nothing that most people know like your examples Madonna Foreigner etc...Thx anyway never heard song since than at all.Time frame is when Trevor Horn's project Propaganda came out, about that time i guess

Just for reference, because I'm confused by your description, is it anything like this?

Sisters of Mercy - This Corrosion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyKCLnHK0mM
    Ρεμπέτικο για πάντα. Μάγκες είμαστε.

Nope,Sisters are well known, this song was probably in the middle of top 100 in UK and is much more obscure regarding place in the chart, and period of time is i think when Frankie goes to hollywod came into the light, thx anyway

Could it be something from Mike Oldfield. Incantations, part 2, has a tribal rhythm and a female voice repeating the same melody over and over.

Nope, not even close i know almost every piece of a genius by the name Mike Oldfield,it's something different full of synths,i'm gonna have to record on my keyboard chorus frase and post it as a attachment,it's the only solution because i have song in my head but it's so hard to describe it for the people to get a clue.Female voice appears in the middle for short period of time and song goes on and on with huge church like organ till the end

My wild guess is "Jungle Fever" by The Chakachas (1972) but I don't remember it having organ music.
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title
