I am looking for an English translation of a Greek song by Yiannis Poulopoulos, from the 1970s. I believe the title is Έμαθε’ H Nύχτα Nα Mην Kλαίει, as that's how it appears on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vJnbmTuSUI
I have checked alpha list here of songs and it's not on there.
It translates, rather literally to:
Learned 'the night not crying
tear Either patience
and no matter how much sorrow and with burns
find dew on a rain
He came and told me bring my summer
thanks in your hand is not lost
in your goodness and love
how warmed
Learned the pain lygaei
I took courage in life
Now love me's driving
the dream we had together
I think the first line is attempting to say, "the lesson of a night with no tears . . .
Can someone provide a better interpretation/translation of this song in English?
Many thanks,
Soteria
