Toured the White House in D.C.
Made our way to Manhattan
Climbed the Statue of Liberty
We went down south for a good time
New Orleans and Bourbon Street
Daytona Beach in the sunshine

We drove out west in a Trans Am
I-40 took us close to the Canyon
We hung a big right in Arizona
Played the king and queen of Vegas
Then I lost my temper, lost my job
Money dried up, and that was all
Your parents came, got you and the baby
They moved you out in a U-Haul
