Default 1960's CW lyric thought Johnny Horton

There was a song I used to listen to as a kid I cannot find. Here are some of the lyric. " Do you mind when you go out that door go softly, do you mind if you leave me sleeping. For that is the best way believe me I know, do you mind if you leave me sleeping." I have spent a lot of time searching and cannot find a thing.

This was definitely the song, but I am sure it wasn't the artist. I did find out that it was written by Scott Law. The search continues! Awesome
