really vague i know but... here goes!

Hello guys, new here so go easy!

I only have a few lyrics to a song that my wife adores, and I want to buy the CD for her, but lo and behold, she doesnt know the artist or title, only (very) few lyrics!!

here goes. It is a rock ballad, sung by a female. Quite rocky guitars in the louder bits but very tender on the whole!

It goes (quietly) "...and i'd be lost without you... (getting much louder) and i'll tryyyyiyyyyiyyyiyyyyyoooo...."

When she sings the word 'try' (or it could be 'cry') the singer fluctuates the note quite significantly, similar to the way vic reeves does in the song 'dizzy' (i need to call the doctor for some heyeyeyeyellp!" if you know what i mean!
