The Choice

Verse 1
Many politicians denounce it
As well as religious figures
But it remains legal
Due in part to millions of supporters
The high court has agreed it's constitutional
Opponents want it to be banned
The debate wages on
And it appears there's no end in sight

Verse 2
Many march in the streets in protest
Many march in support
some who think it's wrong
Take the law into their own hands
But a woman should have the right to choose
It's a fundamental right
Those who don't choose the procedure
Have a right not to

Verse 3
A woman should always be informed
Of her options
In the end it's up to her
To make a decision
Please, do not pass any judgement
Nobody is perfect
It's always been a matter of choice
Not a matter of anything else
