TL;DR - I am requesting lyrics for the song Freelancer from Soul Coughing.
Not to long ago I got into Soul Coughing, and I mean really.
Unfortunately, Soul Coughing doesn't have the clearest lyrics.
After surfing their B-Sides and Unreleased tracks I found a song by them called Freelancer.

The song was easy to find.
But info on the song, not so much.
What I could Gather is that it was a track that didn't make it onto their Last album El Oso.
Another piece is that they did play it live about four times, as said on setlist(dot)fm.
The concerts they played in were:
- 8/28/1997 The Fillmore, San Francisco, CA
- 7/31/1997 Metro, Chicago, IL
- 7/28/1997 First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN, USA
- 7/27/1997 First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN, USA
Notice they are all in 1997, Thats the year after El Oso Came out.
If we found a live recording the lyrics might be more understandable.
Moreover, as a commenter said on the youtube video said, the beginning has lyrics from M. Doughty's
later collab "Never Gonna Come Back Down". They are here:
"
Bring the sound to the people
In a white truck
Bumpin' on the road bumps
Run into a tree stump
Tweeter out the back door
Slam into the dirt lot, stopped
With the cable runnin' out the backside
Disco naked
And if you had a chance-ah
You wouldn't even stop denying,
Go talk to Anna Hand.
Go start the multiplyin'
"
Lastly, the reversed audio part at 1:23 is just part of the reused lyrics from the beginning.
Thanks to anyone able to help.
