    Penti pidia puligirna,

    Ale ki tessira nikitiana,

    Ki tessira nikitiana,

    Ale ki tri kaliviotika.

    Ki tri kaliviotika,

    Ale ton isvuru anevinan,

    Ale anevinan katevinan.

    Anevinan katevinan,

    Ale na djiun tis isvuriotisis,

Ale tu pia in i aspri ki i kali,

Why don't you write the Pontiako part with Greek characters (maybe I will understand more). If Pontiaka cannot be written like that, whenever you post a Pontiako song write which part is the Turkish lyrics, which the Pontiako, and it would be great to have also the translations .Not all of us are Pontioi

    kompsi (I'm female )

and panselinos this one may not be pontiako(I can understand the words, so most probably it's not), but that doesn't mean that pontioi don't sing this song also.

I never said they didn't, Tzina. I'm just saying it's not a pontiako song.
Sounds like one of them δημοτικά τραγούδια της Μακεδονίας to me.

I don't know if they talk like that in Makedonia. I think they don't. I think in some parts of Thessalia they talk like that. But still not sure.

I live in Makedonia, in Thessaloniki to be more specific, but I don't know either. Sounds like an archaic speech to me. It was just a guess anyhow.
On some site they say it's a dance from Xalkidiki.
