    where did you hear it?

    neta could mean: pure, simple or net (as in net price)

    It's merely the truth...

    when someone who use this word "la neta" try to mean that he/she is saying the truth and anything more than the truth...

    "¡Es la neta güey!" It's a common phrase, but very informal, never use it either words in a formal speech
