    Question 1990/91 Lyrics-On a Midnight Train ?

Of course I can't remember the lyrics, something like...

....On a midnight train... I know it's over now/I know it's over now.

It was by a band (Definitely Not Rod Stewart-Downtown Train)
    1990-1991 release year.
    Slow song, extremely depressing-but great.
    Some sax in the song.

    Vague enough?
    Thanks

"Easy Mark" by Nerf Herder ???

Yeah she... she's just a girl
Yeah she's just a small town girl
    Livin' in a lonely world

And she rides that midnight train goin' anywhere
    She's an easy mark

Yeah he... he's just a boy
Yeah he's a big city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit

And he catches that midnight train goin' anywhere
    He's an easy mark

She lays down in the grass on Strawberry Hill
He is there smelling like nicotine and peanut butter
    You gotta love her

Yeah she... she gets up off the floor
She says you can beat me all you want to
But I don't love you anymore
No I don't love you anymore

And she rides that midnight train goin' anywhere
    She's an easy mark

I hate this world, this stupid world, this screwed up world
I hate this world, this ****ing world

Reminds me of "Midnight Train to Georgia" originally by Gladys Knight & the Pips (1964) and covered by numerous artists including Indigo Girls and Human Nature.
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

No, definitely not Gladys Knight /Ludacris or Rod Stewart. No one like that.
    Not really too Pop sounding-Jazz/Blues.
Almost New Romance type music but not with the electronica.
The guy sings slow- almost speaking the lyrics.
It was a band's name- like Ocean Blue or something.

There was only 2-3 verses in the song of 4-5 lines....I think

Came out around the same time as Lloyd Coles 1990-91 hit.

    Thanks Guys

No, it was out originally around
Faith No More -Epic so maybe it was late 1989/90
and Steve Perry's voice is totally different from this guy's voice.

I rediscovered on YouTube once as a background song for a couple traveling.
I believe they were crossing a bridge, the clip was only a little over a minute
in length. I lost the link when my comp. crashed...

This really isn't a wild easter egg chase....
    Thanks guys
