    Default pre-1992 mystery song

I have a cassette tape made in '92 that has a song with the lyrics
(more or less) below. The singer sounds a bit like Huey Lewis and I
think it might be from a movie. Google and the lyrics search engines
turn up nothing. Looking for title and artist.

    Thanks.

    (can't make out first line)
I could see her face standing on the grass
    She winked at me
    Feeling good I didn't care
All I could see was her standing there

The crowd got up band was playing
And in my mind I could her here saying
    I love you
She could have been from anywhere
She could have had most anyone
I think that girl's from another world
    Not just another girl

When I met her folks I was not surprised
Had her old man's ways and her mother's eyes
    Silver spoons she had everything
She'd leave it all just to hear me sing

    I say
The crowd got up band was playing
And in her mind I could hear her saying
    I love you
She could have been from anywhere
She could have had most anything
I think that girl's from another world
    Not just another girl

I gotta find a way to start loving her
I gotta see the day when I can really be sure
    She'll be my girl

    (saxophone)

Her royal blood didn't mean a thing
Even though our first born might be a king

    I say
The crowd got up, band was playing
And in my mind I could hear her saying
    I love you
She could have been from anywhere
She could have had most anyone
I think the girl's in another world
    Not just another girl

She could have been from anywhere...

    Hi!

I believe the song you are refering to appeared in the 1989 movie - "Poor little rich girl - the Babra Hutton Story"

In the movie the song is sung by Sherwood ball. I have been searching for this song for years and have only just discovered that it originally sung by Ivan Neville. Use Lime wire to dowload the song
