Song by Randy Edelman?

i heard a song on the radio quite a few years ago that the DJ said was sung by "Randy Edelman".
I think the chorus went something like...."Shoulder to shoulder, you put me over, it was not a ??? that led me to your???"

I 've never been able to match it to any song titles by Randy Edelman and was hoping that someone on here might know what this somng was called?
