Song heard on Starbucks radio...

And I'm trying to find out who sings it or what the song's called. I heard it earlier today in the San Diego State University Starbucks. The lyrics were very difficult to hear over the loudly talking people around me but it's a song with a very prominent guitar and a male vocalist. Some of the lyrics I could make out were "Jesus walks," and "Jesus talks," in the beginning of the song, and "you got people who pretend," and "every now and then" repeated a lot. It's got a catchy, almost hip-hop type beat to it. Thanks in advance to any Starbucks radio afficionados who can identify it.
