i see you two minutes before work
i speak on the phone quietly
is not enough anymore
we exchange two words quickly
I steal a kiss from you in the dark
what does it do to me
i can not be careful anymore for they to see us
i cant stand to be afraid of what they will say
we go mad, we adore
but we have to pretend
love is a torment/martyrdom i say to you
love is a torment/martyrdom and i cry
martyrdom/torment our love is
to touch you in front of the others formally
to stand/suffer it every night silently
and i am hurt
i will pass from your house secretly
and not be able to say to you anywhere
that i love you
Nice song.Ziynet Sali also sang this in turkish and greek...

Oh really??
Whats the name of the song in turkish then?
And there is a song MAGKAVA TOU by Annai Vissi and Parios.
Can somebody provide the lyrics here?
Thank you in advance
Tahira
Hi Volcano,
I hoped that anybody of you understands those gipsy greek words "magkava tou".... that was the reason of my question. I know that I love you means s'agapo in greek. But I guess "magkava tou" is gipsy greek and also the word "tuoke" in the first sentence of the lyrics.
I see that I always come across songs with gipsy greek words (to you remember the other thread with mazionakis?)
:-)
So, can anybody help?
Tahira
I found on google "mangava tut/love you" but I am not sure

it's spelled and pronounced different between gipsies around the world![]()
Thanyk you both for your reply.
Meanwhile I have contacted a friedn of mine, she was born and raised in bulgaria and she said the same. But she didn´t know about TOUKE.
Do you have an idea?
Thanks in advance, Tahira
hello... I'm not a native english speaker, so, I hope you can understand me... Guys, I need the following lyrics (in greek and translations if that's possible):
*S'exw eroteytei by sakis rouvas
*xilia milia by sakis rouvas
*kourastika na se krato by maria farantouri (mikis theodorakis) - you also can find that song interpreted by tzeni kanezi
*ki omos ki omos - anna vissi, haris alexiou, kostas smokobitis, dimitris kontolazos and giannis parios
*kokkino garyfallo by haris alexiou and giannis parios
*ti leipei by eleftheria arbanitaki
ok, that's all... If you can help me with those lyrics, i'll be very glad with all of you, and, if you have some lyrics apart of those by those artists or any others, I'll be very glad too.
good luck
