    Default Generation... what?

    Hey.

If I can't get to find this one I'll probably start having sleeping disorders.

It's a hair metal band, with a blue-eyed blonde vocalist who looks like he's on crack. My friend told me it's most probably Kix, but I can't be certain.

You don't hear much guitar in the song, however you hear that really catchy and simple drum rhythm. It's probably the most attractive aspect of the song.

In its video, the band members are, you know, rocking in some dark place who looks like a basement and the vocalist keeps walking up and down the stairs banging his head, doing bizarre faces and stuff...
There is also a young guy tired of his boring life searching for a well, personality. He walks in and out of the living room where his dad reads the newspaper and his little sister is playing with dolls.
Later on the boy shaves his hair, picks up a guitar, and stands up against his boring life. Wow, he's a rocker, let the rebellion start! The little girl ends up cutting the doll's hair.

Bad luck is that I couldn't understand a single lyric but the chorus which goes like "Generation X... (guitar riff etc) Generation X..." However it could be Generation Flash, Generation Next, Generation Black or Generation Ash -- it's maybe not even "Generation"

I believe I've given every detail possible-- especially about the video which I think might help you most.

    Thanks in advance.

Don't actually like rock music do you?

Bands with blue eyed, blonde frontmen:

    POISON
    MOTLEY CRUE
    WINGER
BON JOVI (fat chance it's them)
    WARRANT
    TWISTED SISTER

    I like rock music.

I found it myself, but thanks anyway. It turned out to be "Generation Clash" by Accept, which made me think it was a hair metal band because of David Reece (the vocalist guy who came after Udo left).

    So uhm... solved, I guess.

How come I get my poists deleted when they're not offensive to anyone yet if someone posts lyrics with swearing in them they get left alone!?!

All I did was say they didn't seem like a rock fan because their post seemd derogatory of the genre.

If you see a post that has offensive language in it please report it, or pm a moderator who will delete it if necessary.

If you disagree with a decision to delete one of your own posts, you can also send a message.[I doubt you'd get a discussion about it in a thread]

I thought I should make a clear statement on this: Just because a person criticized a rock video which is has rather ridiculous scenes doesn't mean they are offending the genre.
Search for "Generation Clash" in YouTube if you'd like to see for yourself.
