Need help identifying song

This may be a hard one. I started remembering this melody in my head and now it won't leave.

It's an hip hop mix. It has the sound of an old kinda scratchy vinyl record background music. And a woman (soul voice) is the old vinyl voice singing in the background

"I know you.... well it's true.....

Foreva!"

with a couple of impact notes, then artist starts singing or rapping, I'm not so sure. Can anyone figure this out?

I'm pretty sure it's song that came out around the 90's?
