Default Solved: What I am - Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians

Well, here I was camping on the weekend when I heard a song on the radio. Now, this song was incredibly catchy, but sadly I have no idea who it is, or many other details.

So I'll tell you what I know:

Artist: A female, probably a solo artist.
Title: I have absolutely no idea, "What I am is what I am" is one of the more prominant reccuring lyrics. Or something like that, it may not be exactly right.
Genre: It's a soft rock. The song is slow, mellow and features a full band as far as I can tell.

Sorry I can't provide you with more information, that's about all I know. Here's hoping someone can find the song for me.

    Cheers!

If that was a shot in the dark then you hit the target right in the heart.

This was exactly the song I was looking for

Edit: Actually, I guess that's a lie, since the version I heard was actually the original by Eddie Brickell and the New Bohemians; The Emma Bunton version is a cover.

    In any case, Solved!
