    I'm not from Turkey, I'm from France, and not only my name is turkish, so am I.

    If you're from Turkey, you're Turkish, not French...

    Did you mean you were born in France but live in Turkey?

    I believe he was born and lives in France (which makes him French), but has a Turkish origin (which makes him feel Turk, in a way).
    But that's just a guess...

    I was just asking cos your nationality is where you are born. unless you change it legally.

    as in: My father's from Dublin in Ireland but I was born in England so I'm Englsih
