Unhappy Sorry for not completing it....... It's just a pity for Angela

It's truly a pity that a singer like Angela recorded such a song.....

Anyway here are the lyrics in greek.
Please excuse me but I can find NO courage for translating it...... It's just a pity

Maybe another friend can help you with the translation.

Ps: I don't even bother myself for adding it at stixoi.info.
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

What do you mean? I have never heard of this song so I do not get it. Is it not the usual Angela style?

My friend Zvezda, Angela or "Lady Angie" has already been singing for over 40 years continuously. All those years she gives live performances under the rather difficult conditions of "Bouzouksidika". So she may not be a "classical" artist, she may also not be an "educated" person, but she has recorded amazingly good songs so far in her career.
Songs that greeks will sing FOREVER....

Some examples are "Fwtia sta savatovrada" (this is a "clear" diamond), "Oi xwrismenoi", "Exw mia kardia" and about 15 more classics.

So it's just a pitty to release such a trash as the song we're talking about.

I feel that even if the greek music "industry" is dying slowly, and the well known artists release just a couple of songs every year (which are distributed as gifts by the cell phone companies, inside the memory of a every phone btw!), they HAVE to show some personal strength and release those 2 songs per year, knowing that they're still "making history" and not trying to get a "something like" easy listening hit.....

I wasn't being ironic Amethystos, I am just not aware of what is happening in Greece as I do not live there (anymore). We all like Lady Angie and she is quite a character which adds to the appeal. Besides I always listen to her when I am depressed to make my spirits rise

Please my friend Zvezda don't misunderstand me.
I didn't either try to be offensive to you.
I just wanted to show to all people in forum that there is now, a difficult time for greek music (not to mention culture in general ) and that we have to be rather skeptic to the events.
