need help!

I am having the toughest time finding this song... I have it in my head, but I just never knew who sang it. The lyrics go something like "i will never hurt you, i will never make you cry, i will never tell a lie just to hurt you". It's something similar to that, maybe not those exact lyrics. Only thing I was able to find was "You're Mine" by A Flock Of Seagulls, but unfortunately that is not it. It's a woman's voice. If anybody could help me, it would be much appreciated. THANKS!

thanks! i believe that is it, its what was floating in my head, but i dunno about the woman thing. i was trying to find it for a friend at work. he said the woman's voice was real bluesy, but who knows. he could be wrong

Doesn't really sound like the right song, but there is an old Everly Brothers song called "Devoted To You" that goes, "I'll never hurt you, I'll never sigh. I'll never be untrue. I'll never give you a reason to cry. Because I'm devoted to you."
