This was a song i wrote a while ago, long before the batman film. I'm not quite sure who i aimed this song at, and it kinda lacks a chorus, but its style is part of the song - this mans life had no chorus - no main focus, it never repeated it just stayed the same.
They call me TwistedTounge for a reason hehe. Anyway, please leave your comments

if The joker laughs the last,
it isn't always good,
its just another cry for desperate help
again misundrestood
the crime he used to be
the man he used to do
the shattered blades of grass that fell
when he lay eyes on you
the joker slides away
he can't give anymore
his tounge is growing bitter
and his heart is growing sore
the mask is peeling off and now
that's where he used to stand
just dreaming of the pale dream
of his hand held in hand
the things he used to say
the words that fade away
as memories re-surface now
his heart will make him pay
the prize he cannot see
the lines he cannot hear
the abnormalities of which
he thinks the world will fear
if you don't mind the trap
then i implore you to go on
the rock is growing brittle and
he can't hold on for long
a rambler's words go on
yet they fail to make sense
your eyes are growing weary
yet your face remains so tense
the 3 so simple words
that he cannot pronounce
the words have lost their meaning
they do not weigh an ounce
of how he really feels
the pain he holds inside
the simple weak but honest man
who swallows all his pride
but what if he should choke on words
that still remain unsaid.
3 words and oh-so many more
revolve around his his head
Just smile all the time
just smile all the time
just smile all the time
just smile all the time
