Hello music peeps! I'm new here, and I joined last week for what I thought was a simple translation to English of a song sung in French by Marie Elaine Thibert.

My thread was answered by a member named "Albruna," and she (her avatar is an intriguing femme) asked me to post the lyrics so she could translate.

Turns out it wasn't that simple - the lyrics for the song in question weren't available ANYWHERE online or otherwise!

Another member, "Salvet," logged on to say he/she listened to the piece a number of times in order to write the French lyrics, and having taken the time to do so, posted them on my thread. Not long after that, Albruna posted the translation I was seeking, and did so with footnotes and alternatives.

Wow.

This forum is the cream of the crop. I've scanned hundreds of threads here so far, and my opinion is solid: this site brings minds together from everywhere on the planet for no other purpose but to help each other understand.

I'm not just stupidly mono-linguistic, now I'm speechless.

The same thing happened to me (in the arabic translations), and after that, i cant leave this forum, i found really good friends and people ready to help me (or anyone else)... U will find so helpul, nice, funny and kind people.... So, this is a really nice pleace....
