Frustrated: Heard Song on Radio, Can't find it!

So I have heard this song over the past couple of months, but it is only very so often. When I tried to search the song log of the radio stations, the song would not be listed. They just skip over it for some reason. So in my frustration I was wondering if you guys could help.

The chorus goes something like this...


(But girlfriend you can't change me...)

other parts are...

I will try to remember more of the song, but the chorus part I put down is the main part.

i have been trying to find out the name or artist of that song for months
i think they are a st louis local band and not signed to any major labels so it's alot harder

sorry i haven't really checked this because i didn't know i had any replies. Yeah well I would hear it mostly on 93.3 and I live in St. Louis so that would make sense that they are local then. The station just got back up and I heard it again this morning and it's aggravating not knowing who it is. Oh well thanks for the comments though.
