Help . . .Artist and Song Title

Hi All,

I've has the lyrics of a song that i remember from my childhood in my head for the last few weeks and for the life of me, I have no idea who sings it! Part of the lyrics i seem to be sure off (as least i think i'm sure!!) go like this:-

I got a note from my cousin the other day
His said his lady had gone on a holiday

and the chorus is something like
. . . .so this is romance.

Does anybody have any ideas of song title and artist please please please!!
