an arms reach
silver terminals
run across the vast desert
like silver ink spilt over the sidewalk
in and out of the silver birds
they flock like somber cattle
seemingly far from the juvenile
but truly just an arms reach
from their mother
sister
brother
father
significant somebody
or maybe even nobody
for them to be free again
in the giant toy-shop
to tell stories
bomb countries
bake birthday cakes
break innocent hearts
across the lonely blue blanket
like angeles they arrive
into the silver ink
to feel the warmth of a heart
pressed firmly against theirs
for each has a story
untold in each sunrise
pressed against the glass
to taste their juvenile
before they are released into the wild
to burn cities
paint pictures
fight winless wars
like the filthy animals they truely are
