    Thanks a lot for that info. It is defo the correct song you have given - I have just checked the lyrics and it matches up, though I have checked on youtube and places and can't get to hear it. It was written, it says, by Pete Dello, who was in Honeybus, of I Can't Let Maggie Go fame.

    Is "I'm a Gambler" by Lace, the "gambler" song you were looking?

    Also by Red Herring 1973 - soungs idenentical to the Lace version which I believe was in 1969
