Help?!

I heard this song a while ago, maybe a month ago.
I really enjoyed it, it was some sorta pop song sung by some white guy.

It said something along the lines of being the "white Kanye West", and "DJ play the song everyone dances to" or something like that.

I really enjoyed it. And from what I remember of the video, the guy was singing by himself in a black stage and all you could see where disco and coloured lights and whatnot.

Help is needed!! I've been looked for this song for forever.
I know the guy's name was like "B. Something-or-other".
Maybe.
Not too sure.
