Righto, well I sent these into a contest. Kind of girly, I know, actually I'm a bit embarassed, but I guess every girl has a right to write girly lyrics, right? Wow that's a lot of rights. Anyway, here they are. Oh and one more thing - for genre I would think folk (or as itunes calls it "Singer/ Songwriter").

Reshaping my forever
With freedom stripes and sweaters
In my glasses, I look clever
You weren't so clever after all
A painting in the sea
Lines blur and colors bleed
What I loved is hard to see
So I just won't make the call
Breathe easy
My summer face is laughing
My steady hands are clapping
My plane is hardly crashing
And I can't say why
Hold the kite and swing
As I think on other things
I finally cut his string
Released him to the sky
No heart's incessant pounding
Can't hear the words resounding
No labyrinth to confound me
I'm open like a drawer
Don't color me blue
Something old is something new
Words I borrowed from you
Drip through cracks in the floor
Brevity
My summer face is laughing
My steady hands are clapping
My plane is hardly crashing
And I can't say why
Hold the kite and swing
As I think on other things
I finally cut his string
Released him to the sky
Love is patient, love is kind
Love acquired over time
Leave your love and you will find
He's just a state of mind
