Merima Njegomir – Jutros mi je ruza procvetala

Here is another beautiful old song. Some claim it is a Bosnian song, other claims it is a Serbian song, thus there are versions in both ijekavian and in ekavian. I have chosen the latter one.
I have tried to translate it, but feel free to/please correct it.
There are several passages in the lyric where I am not sure if I have made the right translation. Amongst others, why do they use the word "ravno" in this context – "Ja ga cekam vec godinu ravno"?

Jutros mi je ruza procvetala
This morning my rose was in blossom
ruzu gledam pa sam zaplakala
I look at the rose, and then I burst into tears
ruzo moja mladost sam ti dala
My rose, I gave you my youth
svojom sam te suzom zalivala
I drowned you with my tear

Kol'ko sam te puta poljubila
How many times have I kissed you
jos pupoljak mladi dok si bila
While you still were a young sprout
ispijala rosu s tvojih grana
I drank the dew from your branches
mesto usne mojega dragana
Instead of the lip of my loved one

Moj je dragi otis'o davno
My darling left long ago
ja ga cekam vec godinu ravno
I am already waiting him for a year
ruzu gledam na te mislim dragi
When I am looking at the rose I am thinking of you darling
na te usne, na tvoj pogled blagi
Of those lips, of your tender glance

Your translation is very good and I see you already got the point of
"ja ga cekam vec godinu ravno"

It's the same like in English.
ravno = straight = extending continuously; uninterrupted; consecutive: sick for five straight days;

"Ravno" is used to emphasize that she's been waiting for him for a full year (non-stop).

I've been waiting for him for a year straight (straight for a year).

She didn't drown the rose with her tears but - she was watering it
