I am trying to key in some lyrics for a songbook for a conference. I can enter diacritical marks such as a tilde, etc., but I cannot figure out how to "link" words in a song--for example: santo es. The o and e are supposed to be joined with what looks like the same mark that links notes on a music staff--sort of an upside -down rainbow.

I have been searching the web but cannot find any help.
