Translation is not always literal -user 'Snezhika' noted the changes/errors so with their agreement, I've added their translations after mine /.... and in italics throughout. Sometimes words in parenthesis indicate a deeper inference that is not always easy to translate. On occasion I've chosen to use older ways of speech for Dracula, I did so to indicate that he'd been around for centuries; sorry if it causes a bit of confusion for some unfamiliar with it. French original, then follows my English version:
After the introduction by the Narrator, explaining the cruelty of the warrior Prince of Wallachia, and how the King of Hungary gave his daughter to the Prince in marriage - how Dracula's heart was entirely bewitched by her mysterious beauty, Elhemina sings a snatch of a traditional wedding song: 'The Brier Bush' I believe -

Note: I have changed this in places, hopefully keeping the meaning intact. The phrase 'reason d'etre' has been adopted in English. The phrase le 'que ciel s'ouvre' - Let heaven open - is a poetic appeal to receive the forgiveness and grace from God.
** can be rendered more colloquially - 'That's crazy talk'.
It is clear that Dracula and Elhemina are not always referring to the same thing, while Dracula speaks of heaven and sanction he believes it has given him as a warrior Prince, Elhemina refers to darker things......Elhemina is a vampire, and once her song is over, she bites Dracula and infects him and the Nation of Wallachia with her dread disease.....

Notes: Decided to reinstate verse 2 line 3 - my alternative was different - 'In my soul there grows not green shoot' - for those who cannot get 'Little Shop of Horrors' out of their mind when thinking of carnivorous plants

'Pris' - literally 'taken' in the sense of 'taken ill'. I've used 'torn' as it implies greater violence and pain emblematic of the character, but it could also be more literally translated as 'caught between'. In English at least, there is a very subtle difference between the two: 'caught between' makes Dracula more the victim of the situation, 'torn' implies he has a choice and is not just the puppet of Fate. For me this song sees Dracula agonising over choice - hence my use of 'torn'. Depends how you see the character as to which you prefer.

Grand Lui:
Cinq siècles viennent de passer. La contrée de Vallachia n’a pas beaucoup changé malgré son air moderne. Dracula jura de retrouver son âme-soeur mais sa croisade ne fait que des victimes. Des citoyens qui disparaissent, des cadavres qui se réveillent, un virus qui se transmet par morsure. La tragédie a réuni cinq personnages: une militante, un journaliste, son photographe, l’homme de science Van Helsing et sa fille Lucy.
Narrator:
Five centuries have just passed. The region of Wallachia did not change much in spite of its modern air. All the while Dracula sought his soul mate, but his crusade only created victims. Citizens disappeared, the dead rose again - a virus transmitted by bite. As a consequence, the tragedy brought together five characters:
an activist, a journalist, his photographer, a man of science - Van Helsing, and his daughter, Lucy.

For 6 & a half years I had a dear friend who was born, raised, & lived her whole life in Montreal Quebec Canada, & she was of French decent, & French was her first language, she learned English in school. After 6 & a half years of being dear friends (read into that, that I loved her romantically during that time) I went to Montreal this past February to be with her for Valentine's Day (Things sadly did not work out, & we are no longer on speaking terms, not of my choice, I wish we still was, it was of her choice). Dracula Entre L'Amour Et La Mort was one of her favorite musical, & thusly I out of love for her am taking great care in my English translation of it's lyrics.
I am not saying that my lyrics are better then yours, simply that they are a different interpretation/translation that people can also choose alternatively if they wish to. So here is my translation of the above song.

I think the differences are fascinating. (Sorry things didn't work out...)
I know what I've posted is far from polished -
My motivation here was to post a fair version in English so that
those with no French could get more out of the musical.
For me, translation of lyrics in particular, is a balance between, meaning,
the music and the rhythms of language, (which for me is a kind of music).
The art comes in knowing what alternatives are appropriate to serve the whole,
and skill is in finding a way to change the minimum to serve the poetry
of the original, the music - (and in the case of musical theatre,
the characters and the drama too.)
Translation at it's best is an art and a skill seamelessly combined;
and the best translations are those where the effort is so well hidden, it doesn't
seem translated at all. I'm far off that, but I'm working on it and enjoying
the challenge immensely! -

Notes:
'Avance' can mean 'advance' - to go forward, but it can also mean advances ie seduction. In this song the word carries both meanings at the same time, as before being interrupted by Dracula, the three Vampireseses attempt to seduce Johnathan to enter their dark and seductive existence.
Asanbosam is a West African vampire (particularly Ghana) Jaracara - Brazilian vampire. Penanggalan - vampire of Malay Peninsula. Kali Siva - Kali Hindu goddess, Shiva, her consort.
The association Kali and her husband Shiva with vampires, is I think, only done for the purpose of verse. While in Kali's most famous pose as Daksinakali, she is shown as drunk on the blood of her enemies, for many Hindus as the goddess of Time and destruction/transformation, she is also the mother of the Universe. While she is often seen as bloody and violent, she is the slayer of demons rather than a demonic figure herself.
* Charmes - charms/ delights not just the promise sexual fulfillment, but euphemism for their physical charms/erotica. Similar to saying 'Cover your nakedness'.

SyrianRani, as you can see in my video I have created a subtitle file which contains that one song, as for the other songs & lines in it, I have not created a subtitle file with those yet because I am still working on my translation, but Bluejacket & I have both translated out many of the songs, & Bluejacket of course is posting his/her (not sure of Bluejacket's gender, never asked) lyrics here, & I plan on doing that once I feel that my lyrics are of a quality worth posting, & once I have done that I do plan on adding the lyrics to my sub file, & so eventually I may have a sub file. You, Bluejacket & anyone is free to use my lyrics if you guys create a sub file (please give me a copy of that file too if you do
) & I defanitly take Blejacket's lyrics into consideration whenever I am doing up mine, so we are all helping out each other

I have done my own lyrics for Cruel & Tender Mina, Reign, & Between The Love & The Death, but I feel that they are not finished yet.
The next one I will finish is Cruel & Tender Mina. Here is some lines from my lyrics for that:
