ti fa andare e poi tornare, ti culla dolcemente...
la malinconia si balla come un lento,
la puoi stringere in silenzio e sentire tutto dentro...
e' sentirsi vicini e anche lontani
    e' viaggiare stando fermi
    e' vivere altre vite...
e' sentirsi in volo dentro agli aereoplani
    sulle navi illuminate,

    ----------------------------

The melanchony has got the waves like the sea,
makes you go and come back, and slides you sweetly...
The melanchony can be danced in a slow motion,
you can hold it in silence and feel everything inside...
it's to feel near and far,
    it's like travelling standing firm,
    it's to live another lives...
it's to feel like flying in the airplanes,
    on lit ships,
on the trains that you see are passing...
it has the warm and red light of a dusk,
of a wounded day that does never want to die...
It looks almost like the happiness, and looks almost like the soul that goes,
the dream that melts with the reality,
you can exchange it like sadness, but is only the soul that knows
that will also need the sorrow...
and stops a moment to sweeten the cries
of the wounded world that does never want to die...
And loosing ourselves behind the desert's dunes
or behind the waves in open sea,
    even in this city..
and feeling that everything can be forgiven,
that everything is always the same,
so that everything could be changed...
It's like being in silence and listen,
and feeling that can also be sweet
    to die one day...
in the warm and red light of a dusk
of a wounded day that does never want to die...
It looks almost the happiness, it looks almost like the soul that goes
the dream that melts with reality...
you can exchange it for sadness
but is only the soul that knows
that even the sorrow will go away...
and stops itself for a moment to sweeten the cries
of a wounded love that does never want to die...
