my attempt
Αχ καρδιά μου, όλα στα 'δωσα
Oh my heart i gave everything to you
μεσ' τα μάτια μου έχεις μόνο την αλήθεια
in my eyes you have only the truth
και τα λάθη σου όλα λάτρεψα
and i adored all your mistakes
κάθε τρέλα σου την έκανα συνήθεια
every crazyness of yours i made it a habit
Μα στα χείλη έχεις ακόμα το παράπονο
but on the lips you still have the complaint
γιατί πες μου γιατί
why tell me why
Άλλο πες μου τι να κάνω
tell me what else to do
τι παραπάνω
what more
που απ΄ τον θεό μου σ' έχω πιο ψηλά
that i have you higher than my god
σ' αγαπώ πολύ μα δεν σου φτάνει
i love you so much but isn’t enough for you
πόσο κακό μου κάνει η άδεια σου καρδιά
your empty heart makes me so much bad
Αχ καρδιά μου όλα στα 'δωσα
Oh my heart i gave everything to you
το φεγγάρι αν θες θα σου 'δινα στα χέρια
if you want the moon i will put it on your hands
ουρανούς για σένα αλήτεψα
i tramped the sky for you
στα σκοτάδια εγώ σου άναψα τ' αστέρια
in the dark i lit the stars for you
Μα στα χείλη έχεις ακόμα το παράπονο
but on the lips you still have the complaint
γιατί πες μου γιατί
why tell me why

cami, I think you made a beautiful and excellent translation![]()
(only a very, very small and not so important addition : τα λάθη = the mistakes; το λάθος = the mistake) (τα λάθη σου όλα λάτρεψα = I adored all your mistakes)
I'm not sure I could have made this translation as good as yours![]()
tnx geomac. yeaaaaaaahhh u r right! now i understand the usage of that ola lool i had the impression that lathy is sg, but i didnt get why "all", if it's only about 1 mistake
thank you!
and nooo i think u could've made a way better translation than mine . don't be modest![]()
kmmy, yes, I think your translation is correctlet's see what maria would say...
some notes and more explanations for my part:
neuter gender of the greek nouns ended in -ος at the singular get -η in the plural:
το βάθος - τα βάθη the depth // the depths
το λάθος - τα λάθη the mistake // the mistakes
http://www.foundalis.com/lan/grkn_neu.htm
iata toate terminatiile posibile akle substantivelor la neutru
-ο , -ι , -α , -ος , , -ός , -υ , -ας , -ως , -ον , -εν , -αν
si iata ca ,,ος" devine la plural ,,η" (atentie: nu si -ός , unde ,,o" e cu accent!)
Singular
case article
Nominative το τέλος / το πέλαγος
Plural
Nominative τα τέλη / τα πελάγη
OMG !
MERSIIII !!
pey si acum... cum imi mai dau e seama cine ce gen are? =(((( tu cum faci sa le diferentiezi?![]()
pai... nu am nicio regula fiindca nu existapur si simplu le tin minte dupa ce ma lovesc de ele in texte de mai multe ori! atat!
![]()
practic iti dai seama numai dupa articolul hotarat!!
το τέλος = sfarsitul => neutru
ο ταχυδρόμος = postasul => masculin
glad i could helpi also learned smth new with this translation
